Decoration 3 full-page miniatures in colours and gold of standing saints holding a book (ff. 5v, 23v, 47v). Large headpieces in gold and colours with foliate or braided patterns. Endpiece in brown and red (f. 70). Large initials in gold and colours decorated with foliate decoration and/or birds, dolphins, bears, fish, angel heads, and hands. Small initials in gold. Initials in red or brown, some with penwork decoration. Chrysography. Rectangular borders in orange and gold.

Official foliation ff. 71 ( + 1 unfoliated modern paper flyleaf and 1 paper leaf at the beginning, and 2 unfoliated paper leaves and 1 flyleaf at the end)

Provenance Written by Euthymios Hieromonachos: inscription that he was a monk of 'Peloponesou ek Choras Sopotoun' [Sopoto, near Kalavrita, Peloponnese] and finished the work on 25 July, 1664 (ff. 71, 38v).
Bought from Sotheby's on 16 February 1875 by the British Museum, using the Bridgewater fund (£12,000 bequeathed in 1829 by Francis Henry Egerton, 8th Earl of Bridgewater (b. 1756, d. 1829).
